A recent post on the CMT website
was titled "These girls ROCK" and said: "Saw
them play at the Stage recently. Very high energy show, great
vocals and harmonies, outstanding musicianship, and E-Z on
the eyes."
Cowboy Crush first performed
at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville in October 2003 at the
International Entertainment Buyers Association (IEBA) convention.
They played just three songs and earned around 50 bookings
from the executives. In 2004, they played a Super Bowl party
for FOX executives and played several country music festivals.
They also performed on the Coliseum stage at the CMA Music
Festival in 2005.
The all-female band includes Trenna
Barnes (lead singer), Renaé Truex (fiddle), Becky Priest
(keyboards), Debbie Johnson (bass) and Darla Perlozzi (drums).
